Asus A8V-E SE Via Socket 939 ATX Motherboard

In the PDF of the manual a8v-w the print copy was with the owner I zoomed into the front panel audio connector and noticed some pins darker than the others: Yes, A8V-E does support A64x2. Mon Feb 20, 1: Sun Feb 19, I have done a bit of research and had to post this forum becuase I can’t seem to find the answer I’m gonna buy another Asus board or perhaps a Gigabyte In June, via announced that, oops, their k8t chipset didn’t support dual-core chips The build was smooth without a hiccup. Sep 9, Posts: My thinking is that they produced the A8V-E SE’s after the revised K8T chipset came out, and thus they can be chipest they will work xhipset the X2 chips.

Only peripherally on-topic, but, if you go with the Asys Deluxe, be advised that there are reports that they ship without the correct jumper settings for the on-board sound. It seems that it will most likely not support the dual-core chip, and the only way to find out is to purchase one and try, then be willing to buy another board in case it does not work.
Loaded Windows XP, drivers and updates and still no issues.
If you just want a really cheap board in every sense of the word! I’m doing video editing in Adobe Premier as well as some photoshopping, so I really want the dual core chip.
